​Services for Fleming Fund Fellows and Fleming Fund Country Grants

SeqAfrica, as a Fleming Fund Regional Grant, looks forward to collaborating with other Fleming Fund grantees in Africa to support the Fund's goal of generating, sharing, and using data to improve antimicrobial use and encourage investments in antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in lower- and middle-income countries.

SeqAfrica Services for Fleming Fund Country Grants

SeqAfrica can provide capacity strengthening services to facilitate your county's adoption of whole genome sequencing (WGS) for AMR surveillance. These services include:

  • Ad hoc Whole Genome Sequencing of bacterial isolates from your country
  • Genomic Proficiency Testing (i.e. External Quality Assessment of Whole Genome Sequencing)
  • Training in bioinformatics
  • Training on the basics of Whole Genome Sequencing and AMR
  • Participation in a Simulation Exercise of an AMR outbreak

  • Training in bioinformatics
  • Training in the basics of Whole Genome Sequencing and AMR
