Participation in international expert groups and panels

DTU National Food Institute is represented in a large number of international organizations' expert groups, panels, committees and working groups and is also an international reference laboratory in a number of key areas.

European Food Safety Authority (EFSA)

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) provides independent scientific advice on food-related risks. EFSA advises on existing and new food-related risks. The advice contributes to shaping European laws, rules and policies - and thus helps protect consumers from the risks in the food chain. EFSA is a European agency funded by the European Union that operates independently of the European legislative and executive institutions (Commission, Council, and Parliament) and EU Member States.
