See what the day has to offer when Statens Serum Institute and the National Food Institute, Technical University of Denmark, hold a seminar on antimicrobial use and resistance in Denmark on 18 November 2022.

In November during World Antimicrobial Awareness Week, the world’s attention will be on the risks associated with inappropriate and unnecessary use of antimicrobials. One such event is a seminar on antimicrobial use and resistance in Denmark hosted by the partners behind the Danish monitoring programme DANMAP. Attendees can choose to attend in person at SSI or participate online.

The annual Danmap report that gives an overview of the use of antibiotics for animals and humans as well as the occurrence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria in animals, food and humans in Denmark for 2021 is presented here. The report will be published on 15 November.
