Working with researchers from Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, the DTU National Food Institute has carried out another joint Nordic population survey (NORMO) for the Nordic Council of Ministers. Sisse Fagt is part of the Danish working group and will contribute to the launch of the study on 2 December 2025 in Copenhagen.
On this occasion, the Nordic Council of Ministers is bringing together decision-makers and experts in Copenhagen to present the latest Nordic monitoring data and discuss possible courses of action across public authorities, educational institutions, civil society and the private sector.
Why is the study relevant?
- Comparable Nordic data: Harmonised methods provide a common basis for assessing developments across countries.
- Overview of emerging behaviour patterns: Covers, among other things, energy drinks, physical inactivity and use of tobacco and nicotine products.
- Better basis for decision-making: Supports the prioritisation and planning of health promotion initiatives across authorities, schools, civil society and the private sector.
- Time series: Makes it possible to follow trends over time and identify areas where action is needed.
