EFSA invites scientific experts to express an interest in joining ten of EFSA's scientific panels to ensure that the advice is at a high scientific level. The ten panels work respectively with:
- Animal health and welfare
- Microbiological contamination
- Chemical pollution
- Feed materials
- GMO
- Nutrition
- Plant health
- Pesticides
- Additives and flavorings
- Food packaging, enzymes and technical aids
EFSA is also seeking new members for its Scientific Committee, which works on general issues such as harmonization of risk assessment methods and new methods.
Selected candidates will be given a five-year mandate from July 2024.
Application
Suitable applicants can work in a number of scientific areas such as toxicology, exposure, chemistry, nutrition or food technology.
The application deadline is 3 April 2023.
