Whole genome sequencing analysis for microbial diagnostic, identification, and cluster analysis

The course is designed for PhD students and professionals in the food and health sectors, regardless of previous experience and background. The course is a natural extension of the previous course but can also be taken as a standalone programme.

Whole genome sequencing analysis for microbial diagnostic, identification, and cluster analysis.

The course is about whole genome sequencing (WGS) – a crucial technique within both research and industry. Over four intensive days, you will gain a deeper understanding of the applications of WGS, from tracking disease outbreaks and monitoring antibiotic resistance, to identifying pathogens in food and feed. The course combines theory with practical computer exercises, so you gain both an understanding of and practical experience with WGS data analysis.
