DANMAP Seminar

Come and learn about the latest surveillance results and research on antimicrobial use and resistance at the DANMAP seminar 15 November 2023 organized by Statens Serum Institut and DTU National Food Institute. See the programme, which is now ready.

During World Antimicrobial Awareness Week in November, the world’s attention will be on the risks associated with inappropriate and unnecessary use of antimicrobials. The partners behind the Danish monitoring programme DANMAP host a DANMAP seminar to create awareness about antimicrobial use and resistance in Denmark.

You can participate at DTU in Lyngby or online.

Programme
The annual DANMAP report gives an overview of the use of antibiotics for animals and humans as well as the occurrence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria in animals, food and humans in Denmark. The seminar reviews the most important results from the annual DANMAP report. In addition, other topics relevant to antibiotic use and resistance will be addressed at the seminar by invited speakers.

See attached program (pdf).

The report will be published on DANMAP's website prior to the seminar.

Registration
Participation is free, but registration is necessary no later than 6 November 2023 for on-site participation and no later than 13 November for online participation.
