WHO considers antimicrobial resistance to be one of the biggest threats to public health. The use of antibiotics for both animals and humans is a global issue. To limit the global occurrence of antimicrobial resistance it is important to identify the risk factors which contribute to the development of resistance. Research in antimicrobial resistance is the basis for advising authorities and organizations on how to reduce the level of resistance
