Mixed dish of food and entrepreneurship – 25 students had the first taste

News on entrepreneurship education

From September 2019, DTU Centre for Technology Entrepreneurship collaborates with DTU National Food Institute to teach a renewed course on “Integrated product development in the food industry (23564)”, giving the course a corporate entrepreneurship flavour for student groups to explore new venturing ideas in the food industry based on innovative product design.

The course invites several Danish companies in the food industry to pitch their challenges, based on which student groups will take initiatives as corporate venturing teams to explore new product concept and new business. Companies involved in this course include Chr. Hansen, CP Kelco, Palsgaard A/S, Unibio and KMC.

"DTU Entrepreneurship is actively reaching out and is open to new suggestions made by other departments at DTU to join force so that entrepreneurship will become a theme of DTU education accessible by all DTU students."
