My primary competances are within basic and molecular microbiology. I have solid backgound knowledge about human nutrition, immunology and biochemistry. 

 

Expertise:

Basic and molecular microbiology techniques: Culturing bacteria, in vitro assays of antimicrobials, microscopy, DNA/RNA extraction, Primer design, PCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR, molecular cloning, Gel electrophoresis, Transcriptomics, 16S rRNA gene sequencing.

Bioinformatics and Statistics: Handling of DNA/RNA sequence data with CLC Genomics Workbench, UPARSE and QIIME software. Data handling and statistics with R and GraphPad Prism software.
