The National Food Institute has a flat structure where the research activities are focused in 14 research groups.

In addition, the Institute has three support units:

  • The Academic Support supports the academic work within research, scientific advice, innovation and education

  • The Institute Secretariat helps with administrative system support, management support, on- and offboarding as well as coordination in relation to buldings, procurement, IT, events and communication.

  • The Service Unit provides laboratory service and is responsible for many different service tasks for three departments at DTU.
