DANMAP seminar 2025 on antimicrobial use and -resistance
Join the DANMAP seminar to learn about the latest findings from the surveillance of antimicrobial use and -resistance in Denmark. The seminar will take place on Monday, 18 November 2025, and is organised by Statens Serum Institut and DTU National Food Institute.

The partners behind the Danish surveillance programme DANMAP invite you to a seminar on antimicrobial consumption and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in Denmark. The most recent national action plans against antimicrobial resistance in humans and animals will also be presented at the seminar. You can participate either in person at the DTU Lyngby Campus, or online.
The DANMAP Seminar 2025 will be held during WHO’s World AMR Awareness Week, which takes place from 18 to 24 November (read more via link below).
Programme
The seminar will present the key findings from the annual DANMAP report, which provides data on the use of antimicrobials in animals and humans, as well as the occurrence of antimicrobial-resistant bacteria in animals, food, and humans in Denmark in 2024. See the programme.

Since 1995, the DANMAP programme has monitored the use of antibiotics in humans and animals in Denmark, as well as the occurrence of antibiotic resistance among bacteria from animals, humans, and food. DANMAP is one of the oldest surveillance programmes worldwide in the field of antibiotic consumption and resistance.
