The National Food Institute invites you to Firew Lemma Berjia’s Ph.D. defence on method development in risk-benefit assessment and burden of disease estimation of food.
In his Ph.D. project Firew Lemma Berjia from the National Food Institute has developed further on existing methods in risk-benefit assessment and burden of disease estimations of food.
The project consists of three topics. The first topic focuses on the risks and benefits associated with consumption of cold-smoked salmon. The second topic deals with method development in health risk-benefit assessment of a food component, using vitamin D as an example. The third topic investigates the health impact of different cooking methods for red meat.
