People are regularly affected by diseases transmitted from the food we eat or from animals in our surroundings.
The zoonoses report, “Annual Report on Zoonoses in Denmark”, provides an annual overview of the monitoring of zoonoses in Denmark across humans, animals and food.
The report is based on close One Health collaboration between authorities and research institutions. One Health is an approach that views the health of humans, animals and the environment as closely interconnected. The report supports prevention, risk assessment and decision-making across sectors.
The seminar will present highlights from 2025 based on the cross-sectoral surveillance on which the report is based.
At the seminar, researchers and experts will present the latest knowledge on pathogenic microorganisms in food, animals and humans in Denmark.
The seminar will take place at DTU on Thursday 18 June 2026 from 13:30 to 16:30. You can attend in person at DTU in Lyngby or join online. The seminar will be conducted Danish.
Attendance is free, but seats are limited.
