Come to a seminar on antimicrobial use and resistance

Food, fish and agriculture
See what the day has to offer when Statens Serum Institut and the National Food Institute, Technical University of Denmark, hold a seminar on antimicrobial use and resistance in Denmark on 18 November 2021. The event takes place during World Antimicrobial Awareness Week and will be a celebration of the Danish monitoring program DANMAP, which turns 25 this year.

In November during World Antimicrobial Awareness Week, the world’s attention will be on the risks associated with inappropriate and unnecessary use of antimicrobials. The European Antibiotic Day on 18 November kicks off the week and on this day, a number of events are scheduled to increase health professionals and citizens’ awareness of antimicrobial resistance.

One such event is a seminar on antimicrobial use and resistance in Denmark hosted by the partners behind the Danish monitoring programme DANMAP. Attendees can choose to attend in person at DTU’s Lyngby Campus or participate online.

While the seminar is usually conducted in Danish, half of the presentations will be given in English this year. The partners would therefore also like to invite English speakers to sign up for the seminar.
