Conference puts the spotlight on vitamins

Participate in the 4th International Vitamin Conference. Speakers from Denmark, USA, Australia, India, Ireland and United Kingdom among other countries present the latest research on vitamin B12, vitamin content in foods, best practice in analyzing vitamin content, and the consequences of inadequate vitamin intake. The conference takes place from 25-27 May 2016 in Copenhagen and is organized by the National Food Institute, Technical University of Denmark in cooperation with Aarhus University and University of Copenhagen

There are 13 known vitamins which are all essential for a person’s diet to be assessed as being healthy. An international conference in Copenhagen in May 2016 will put the spotlight on the latest research within the field of vitamins.

Danish and international experts will among others give presentations on the effects of adequate vitamin intake in early life, the use of biomarkers to detect inadequate vitamin status, and the challenges in analyzing vitamin content in foods and optimal intake through foods.

The conference is relevant to teaching and research institutions, regulatory bodies, nutrition and health care professionals, industry and journalists working within the field. Participants will be equipped with the latest research and have the opportunity to network and exchange experiences.

The conference is organized by the National Food Institute in cooperation with Aarhus University and University of Copenhagen.


Wednesday 25 May to Friday 27 May 2016. There will be a welcome reception on Tuesday 24 May for participants who have registered for the conference.

Registration fee

The earlybird fee for registrations received before 23 February 2016 is 570 euro (4.250 kroner). After 23 February 2016 fee is 770 euro (5.750 kroner). It is also possible to attend a reception on 25 May and a conference dinner on 26 May. There is an extra charge for both these events.
