Christine Nellemann appointed as member of The Danish Council of Ethics

Director of the DTU National Food Institute, Christine Nellemann, will for the next three years provide the public authorities and the public at large with advice and information about ethical issues within health, new bio- and genetic technologies and food as a member of the Danish Council of Ethics.

New technology can raise ethical questions. The primary purpose of The Danish Council of Ethics is to provide Danish parliament, public authorities and the public at large with ongoing advice and information about ethical problems raised by developments within new bio- and genetic technologies, nature, the environment and food.

Christine Nellemann, director of the DTU National Food Institute, has been appointed a member of the Council of Ethics by Minister of the Interior and Health Sophie Løhde from 22 March 2023 and the following three years. The council consists of 17 members.
