Join us for a seminar on diseases transmitted to humans from food and animals

Researchers and experts from, among others, the DTU National Food Institute, the Danish Veterinary, Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Agency, and Statens Serum Institut will present highlights from the annual report on zoonoses – diseases that can be transmitted from animals and food to humans – on Thursday 18 June 2026. The seminar will be held in Danish.

The Annual Zoonoses Report – Seminar 2025

The zoonoses report, “Annual Report on Zoonoses in Denmark”, provides an annual overview of the monitoring of zoonoses in Denmark across humans, animals and food. The report is based on close One Health collaboration between authorities and research institutions. One Health is an approach that views the health of humans, animals and the environment as closely interconnected. The report supports prevention, risk assessment and decision-making across sectors.

The seminar will present highlights from 2025 based on the cross-sectoral surveillance on which the report is based. At the seminar, researchers and experts will present the latest knowledge on pathogenic microorganisms in food, animals and humans in Denmark.
