Research Group for Nutrition and Health Promotion

The group conducts population surveys, and the ambition is to:

  • identify the societal challenges in relation to Danes' dietary habits and "DSAP" behaviour (diet, smoking, alcohol, and physical activity)
  • increase knowledge about the importance of dietary food composition and nutritional content for health and disease prevention
  • contribute to the foundation of the Institute's risk assessments

The group conducts interventions to propose solutions that promote healthy dietary habits and health behaviour in different populations groups.
